August 2010 Open Positions
Please announce these open positions at our meetings and if you need more information, contact your group or district representative. Area Information Services Liaison, sometimes referred to as AISL. There is information about the AISL position in the service manual on page 57 and page 63; some of the responsibilities includes being an aide in communications between the Area and the district; and it is part of Al-Anon's network of communication. Attendance at the local monthly district meeting and quarterly Area meetings are required. Alateen Chairperson The Alateen chairperson coordinates the Alateen activties for the district and communicates with the North Florida Alateen and North Florida Area Alateen Process Person (AAPP) and a local monthly district meeting attendance is also required. These are very important positions and there are new and exciting changes to carry the message of Al-Anon's hope. Those willing to serve should give their name to their group or district representative by the next District 8 meeting, September 18, 2010 Let it begin with me..... When anyone anywhere reaches out for help let the hand of Al-Anon and Alateen always be there, and LET IT BEGIN WITH ME!!!!!
